Financial & Insurance Information
Our philosophy is to make fertility treatment as efficient as possible and to give our patients the absolute highest value for their efforts and dollars. Because our success rates are constantly at the top AND because our costs are lower, we can guarantee you that the amount it will cost to start your family should be the lowest anywhere.
As I review records from so many patients who have shifted their care to us, it is sad to see how much money and how many trips they have spent already. Often the care is part of routines, but not well directed for their specific problem . Oftentimes, some have been “pushed” into IVF when other treatments are just as good. We want to partner with you, but with your interests and pocketbook in mind.
We offer a significant cash discount (approximately 20%) for all services provided that are not covered by insurance. We accept cash, check, or credit card.
Many couples may qualify for and chose to finance fertility procedures. We currently recommend Springstone and My Medical Loan.
SpringstoneSM makes it easy to say YES to treatment with low monthly payments, no money down, and no payment for 3-7 weeks.
If you need a payment plan, contact My Medical Loan. Just be aware that the interest rates range from 5.9% to 13.9%.
Shared Risk IVF Program
Northwest Fertility Center’s Two-for-One Program
To help you better afford needed infertility treatment, Northwest Fertility Center has introduced a new financing option. The new shared-risk self-insurance program offers you the opportunity to pursue two in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycles at a cost that is comparable to one fee-for-service IVF cycle at other local IVF clinics.
Here’s how it works:
- There are no restrictions to participate in the Shared Risk Self-Insurance Program.
- The self-insurance dollar amount will vary based on individual patient factors such as patient age, decreased ovarian reserve or PCOS (Polycystic ovary syndrome). However, for many patients the additional insurance dollar amount combined with our lower IVF costs will allow patients to pursue a second IVF cycle (if needed) at a total cost that is still lower than one cycle at other local clinics.
- If a pregnancy is not achieved on the first attempt, and with any frozen embryos, then you can try a second IVF cycle at no charge except the cost of new medications. This represents an average savings of $7,000.

Background on Shared-Risk Programs
Throughout the country, many different types of shared-risk IVF programs have become popular as an effective way to increase access to needed infertility treatment for the thousands of couples without insurance or with limited financial resources. The details and costs vary considerably. As an example, if couples qualify, they then pay a much greater dollar amount (e.g. $15,000 to $25,000) for up to three IVF attempts. If pregnancy is successful, the clinic will keep the excess money to cover the costs of others without success. So for a couple that conceives on their first try, they have paid at least twice what would have been expended for a single fee-for-service IVF cycle. But should they never achieve a pregnancy, some percentage (50-100%) is refunded.
It is important for couples to thoroughly research these Shared Risk Programs as they are complex. Many couples will not “qualify” after necessary appointments and testing are completed. Many significant costs are not covered, especially expensive fertility medication and all IVF prescreening tests. Nevertheless, some couples prefer to utilize these programs because of the added peace of mind in light of the hard-to-predict outcomes of IVF.
